#RevlonSelects - Revlon Rose Beige Swatches & Review

Thank GOODNESS my Blogger is FINALLY letting me upload pictures again, ughh! I've been so frustrated the past couple of days trying to make it work, and after 5 days of refreshing, waiting and switching internet browsers I finally got it to work!

Today I will be showing you this beautiful new polish from Revlon. This colour is called Rose Beige which is a beautiful neutral coloured polish suitable for all ages and skintones. Swatches below are 2 coats worn alone.
I absolutely love this colour and can't wait to see what else Revlon has to offer since it is not a brand I have much of in my personal collection. This polish dries pretty fast and very shiny at that! There was no streaking what so ever or need for special application. I would certainly recommend this polish to others & can see it being used a lot when I don't feel like a white base for stamping.

Peace & Love,

Born Pretty Store - Black 4pcs Nail Water Decals Review

Good afternoon everyone today I have another product from the Born Pretty Store to show you guys! This item is similar to the water decals I reviewed in yesterday's post here, but the main difference between the posts is that these decals are black and I picked different designs. Besides that all my feelings towards the water decals have not changed.

The set of decals I selected is D188-D191. Here are some close ups of the patterns in the set:

For this manicure I used water decal number D189, and my base color is Rose Beige by Revlon which I will be reviewing on the blog tomorrow :)!

The Black 4pcs Nail Water Decals cost $3.99 with free shipping, but Daisy has provided me with a coupon for you guys to make the deal even sweeter! If you use the code "SKL91" during checkout you will receive an additional 10% off your purchase from the Born Pretty Store for all of your nail art needs.

Born Pretty Store - White 4pcs Nail Water Decals Review

Good afternoon everyone! Today I have a product to show you from the Born Pretty Store that I think is perfect for people who love the look of stamping, but just can't get a hang of it!

I chose these white water decals that come with four different designs in a pack. There are many options for designs, and of all the white sets of decals they offer I chose is D192-D195. Here are a close up of the designs in this set:

Before this I have never used water decals, and bless whoever tried to write the instructions but they made absolutely no sense. But after hitting up trusty ol' Youtube for how to videos, I was able to easily use these decals. My base color is 2 coats of Gumdrop by Orly worn alone, and the decal I used is D194.

I absolutely love these decals! They are extremely easy to use, very opaque, and very affordable. My only complaint is that there isn't lots and lots of the same design in a pack because I'd love to wear these again!

The White 4pcs Nail Water Decals cost $3.99 with free shipping, but Daisy has provided me with a coupon for you guys to make the deal even sweeter! If you use the code "SKL91" during checkout you will receive an additional 10% off your purchase from the Born Pretty Store for all of your nail art needs.

2013 Color Club Halo Hues Collection Swatches & Review

Hello guys and gals, TGIF! Today I have the entire Color Club 2013 Halo Hues collection to show you to kick off the weekend. Again, so I don't sound repetitive, all of my swatches are 2 coats of the polishes worn alone.

First up is Kismet which is a light yellow-green holographic polish. A very unique color for a holographic polish, I've never seen anything like it.

Next is Cosmic Fate which is a peachy-orange holographic polish. At first I thought it looked like Cherubic from the 2012 collection because in some lights it can look like a tan like color, but they are NOTHING alike!

Next is Eternal Beauty which is a beautiful purple holographic polish. In case some of you are wondering, this color is more like a royal purple whereas Cloud Nine from the 2012 is a very light lilac color. Very different, but both great additions to your collection.

Miss Bliss is a medium pink holographic polish. This is the polish that has left people wondering if Color Club duped themselves as it is very similar to Halo-Graphic from the 2012 collection, but in a comparison coming soon you will see that they are not the same.

Next up is Over The Moon which is an ocean blue holographic polish. This polish is a much darker shade of blue and is brighter in comparison to Blue Heaven.

Lastly is Beyond which is a charcoal-black holographic polish. Sadly this is the weakest holo out of all 12 Halo Hues, but it's still pretty darn good quality if you ask me!

My feelings towards the 2013 Halo Hues collection are the exact same as they are towards the 2012 collection which I reviewed here. The major difference between the 2012 and 2013 Halo Hues collection is that this collection offers colors that are so much brighter and bold. I really hope Color Club creates another Halo Hues collection with more bright colors such as reds and yellows, but I don't think I could possibly wait another year for it! It's hard to pick favorites from the collection because they're all so different but Eternal Beauty & Over The Moon definitely are at the top!

The Color Club Halo Hues 2012 collection can be purchased from www.Enospring.com for only $39 with free shipping with purchases over $30 for US residents, but they do offer reasonably priced international shipping as well.

Peace & Love,

2012 Color Club Halo Hues Collection Swatches & Review

Howdy! Today I have the Color Club 2012 Halo Hues to show you guys. This collection consists of 6 linear holographic polishes. Just so I don't sound repetitive, all of my swatches are 2 coats of the polishes worn alone. Most of these could be worn in only one coat if you wanted, but I would recommend 2.

First up is Harp On It which is the silver holo of the collection. A comparison between Harp On It and NFU OH #61 will be coming in the future do stay tuned for that.

Next up is Halo-Graphic which is a light pink holographic polish. I will also be doing a comparison with this color because it seems that some people believe that Color Club may have duped themselves, but is that really the case? We shall see!

Next is Cherubic which is a nice beige holographic polish. Definitely safe for work with a little kick to it!

Next up is Cloud Nine which is a lilac holographic polish. I don't know why, but in certain lighting situations for myself this polish looks semi-pink. Maybe the holo is just blinding me and I'm going cuckcoo.

This is Angel Kiss which is a very light green holographic polish.

Lastly is Blue Heaven which is a light blue holographic polish. This was the hardest for me to get photos of (because blues hate me), but believe me it is just as holographic as the other polishes.

The quality of these polishes are out of this world, especially for the price! There was no streaking what so ever and the dry time was very quick. I think all 6 of these colors are the basic holographic colors you expect to see in every holo collection, but these are done especially well. In comparison to the previous holographic polishes Color Club has made such as Revvvolution, the holo is much stronger in the halo hues and more uniformed whereas Revvvolution has more of a scattered holo look to it. I can't really pick my favorite of the bunch because I love them all and can't wait to play around with them some more!

The Color Club Halo Hues 2012 collection can be purchased from www.Enospring.com for only $39 with free shipping with purchases over $30 for US residents, but they do offer reasonably priced international shipping as well.

Peace & Love,
